My Favorite Things

Well, it has been a good while since I last wrote anything on this page, so here I am. Many times over the last few months I have wanted to write, but have not had the time, nor the access to a computer to act upon my desire. Many things have happened since I last posted, mostly more of the same. The ABHB was fun, and the music side of it was alright (we played what is now possibly my favorite piece of wind band music (the hounds of spring)), however the conductor was positivly life changing. The way she seemed to think about life, and the way that she would deal with all sorts of different situations was quite inspiring. Her thoughts on music were incredible. but to save boredom, I shall refrain from recounting them. It was nice to do a bit of a road trip too. And, band still sucks as much as ever... what with the supreme lack of dedication from almost all grade 12s. Oh well. In other news, I am taking a year off between high school and university. As much as I wish I could have gone straight in, I am just not comfortable enough with my own playing ability to go there yet. And, that would actually line me up with my proper year. (seeing as I am technically only at the ability of a grade 11 student)
